Volunteer

Every Sunday and Wednesday, hundreds of volunteers show up and work together in their unique role to create an amazing environment for our kids and youth. KidzWay and kblanc are totally volunteer fueled and wouldn't exist without the leadership and expertise of our volunteers. Each volunteer has a part to play on our team.  Please see below for different roles you could play in one of our environments and how you can get involved.

Small Group Leaders care for an assigned small group of children each week and consistently connect with their families.

Teachers are responsible to oversee and delegate the overall needs of the children within a classroom. They are also small group leaders.

Coaches provide leadership and support to a team of eight to ten small group leaders and teachers and oversee several classrooms on Sunday mornings.

Host Team greets new families as they enter KidzWay and guides them through the process of checking in to classrooms.

Storytellers present the Bible story each Sunday in a creative and interactive way so that it captures the attention of every child.

Worship Leaders lead our preschoolers in worship with fun music that is full of motions and dance.

We would love to talk with you about joining our team. If you are interested and would like more information about volunteering in Preschool, click here.

SMALL GROUP LEADERS connect relationally with 8-10 students to build relationships and celebrate spiritual growth. The relationship between leaders and students is strengthened through contact on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as outside of our services at kblanc sponsored events, group outings, and regular contact (calls, texts, and emails). The small group experience is the cornerstone of our youth ministry!

HOST TEAM members of this team make the first impression by welcoming each new student, guiding them through registration, and advising them of our service schedule. A Host Team member will also help to ensure the safety and well being of our students and leaders by monitoring behavior in large group.
