I Will Soar and Run

Earlier this year, the Lord spoke to me so clearly about the season we were moving out of and the new season on our horizon. He explained the characteristic that would define this season. He took me to Isaiah 40:31: “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount upon wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.”

Did you notice in this verse there are 4 different seasons (times) that he has distinguished from each other?

A season of waiting…

A season of soaring…

A season of running…

A season of walking…

In the previous season, I was constantly waiting. Waiting on my staff. Waiting on my leadership. Waiting to achieve this goal or that goal. Waiting on people, waiting on a plan, a strategy, and then waiting on someone to execute the plan. These were simply external markers of what was really happening in the dimension of the spirit. God had determined that I would be in a season of waiting, maybe you’ve also been waiting on God. The purpose for a season of waiting is to renew one’s strength.

Psalm 23:2-3 says, “He makes me to lie down in green pastures, He leads me by still waters. He restores my soul.”

Again: A season of waiting, purposed by God to renew one’s strength. This cycle in Isaiah 40 is repeated over and over in a believer’s life who lives with purpose.

The season we are approaching is one of soaring and running. It’s with a newly discovered strength we didn’t know we had in us. You’ll recognize a new strength for the days ahead, a new fuel source, that was deposited in you…in the previous season.

You’ll discover strength in your inner-man—your spirit (Ephesians 3:16).

You’ll find that you have strength for your days (Deuteronomy 33:25).

Strong body. Tenacity, stamina, endurance…

Strong eyesight. You’ll see through things and sort them out, distinguishing between what’s right and what’s false.
Strong hearing. You’ll hear God, new levels of truth, new revelations.

Strong mind. Quick wit, quick answers and solutions.

Strong prayers. Your prayer life will no longer be burdensome or wearisome, but will be fresh and exciting, and will ignite and spark new results.

Strong relationship. Your relationships will be defined as “power relationships” with a new-found strength in existing relationships. You’ll discover people are more willing toward you, more agreeable. This will create a power dynamic of 2.

“1 will put a thousand to flight. 2 will put 10,000 to flight” (Deuteronomy 32:30).

Now, those things that have wearied you…are in your rearview mirror. Do not look back. Do not repeat the same cycle by living in the past. Step into this “supernatural strength” that’s available in this new season. It’s the season where one is no longer waiting—for it’s time to soar and reign.

Using a “pilot’s training” example. I saw it as touch and go’s…

More soaring and occasionally touching down, not stopping. Instead, running fast. This will bring you into new resources, finances and greater prosperity.

You will not get weary in well doing. And you’ll reap because you did not faint (Galatians 6:9).
