Thank you for hearing God’s voice, for putting action to your faith, and for your gracious generosity. As you know, a few years ago, we began the Believe Campaign to buy the property we’re sitting on today, which includes five buildings on ten acres, and then to build a new sanctuary called “The Legacy Center.” It was one of the greatest challenges to our faith that we’ve ever encountered.
While people continued to be faithful in their giving toward this project through the years, last September, the Lord told me, “Finish it.” I knew this meant to finish paying off the property, which was Phase 1 of the Believe Campaign, and then to proceed as the Lord directed. Missy and I spoke to our spiritual parents, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, and they came into agreement with us.
In October, we began the “Break the Tape Campaign” to finish paying off what we owed on the property-—$300,000. Our image was a runner running his race to the finish line and breaking through the tape. We stood on 1 Corinthians 9:24: “Everyone runs. One wins. Run to win.”
Each month we’ve run this race together getting closer and closer to the finish line to break the tape!
This past August, when we still owed more than $120,000, one day in prayer, the Lord gave me this:
Those who break the tape, corporately, retiring the debt on my House, I will endear them to me and will get financially involved in their own personal house. You will hear about their own financial races being run, finalized and finished. Listen for the snap! You’ll hear the tape (red tape) being broken and financial freedom will be their testimony!
Well… “Snap!”
Ten weeks later, we are completely debt free and the testimonies of miracles, healings and financial increase are pouring in—and it’s only just begun!
Yes, I’m excited, grateful and emotionally overwhelmed! And it’s from a heart of appreciation and thanksgiving that I write to you. We did it. You did it. We collaborated with God to do something significant and important to Him.
Missy and I, and the BelieversWay leadership team, want to say, “Thank you.” Whenever it was that you gave, during the Believe Campaign or the Break the Tape Campaign, whether you’re still at BelieversWay or you have moved on to another city or church in our community, your seed was sown into good ground. And from a place of financial freedom, we bless you and your seed, and declare a great harvest of peace, blessing and relational joy!
