We have to get to the point where we can say, “I’ll love myself enough to continue to grow, then life will never move past me.”
This is why Jesus told us to love others as ourselves. He knew that if we didn’t come to a place where we could enjoy good things in our lives, then those same things in other people would eventually become obnoxious to us—and eventually our relationships.
As we work on us and enjoy ourselves, we will get to the point that we can enjoy those same things in everyone else.
What is it that you love and enjoy about yourself? Those are the things you naturally love the most in everyone around you.
What are those things you don’t love so much about you? Start working on them today so you can begin to love and enjoy those things in everyone else!
